All articles in the AspectOS Wiki must follow this Content Policy, any users not doing so will be punished appropriately at the Administrator's discretion.
Any page written in this Wiki must be in English, and must not include "bad language" or "swears" either. Bad language will be met with a block, regardless of the Administrator's thoughts.
All content on this wiki must be related to AspectOS in general, and not anything else. A short example of something that you should not add: "This user also owns a shop, (name of shop & link)." This is wrong in many ways, as it is not related to AspectOS in any way, and is advertising a user's shop. Additionally, this wiki should not be treated as your personal advertising place, and you are not allowed to advertise other users either.
Example of a Good Edit
[User's Name] also helped in the creation of [Name of AspectOS application]. During [Some Event].
When given the context, this could be an excellent addition to a page, such as a page for an AspectOS contributor.
Example of a Bad Edit
[User's Name] currently has a Q&A going on, go check it out!
Now, this is a very bad edit to a page. Not only is the Q&A unrelated to AspectOS, but it is also advertising it, telling the reader to check it out.
All pages should be written in 3rd person, nothing else, exceptions can be made for the User namespace and certain pages that require 2nd person perspectives (such as this page). A brief summary of each perspective is below.
You should never use this perspective, except in your Userspace. First-person is when you are telling something from your point of view, usually including "I."
This can be used in special cases, such as this article. Second Person is when you are talking to the reader (such as a how-to), but not directly addressing yourself either. This usually can include "You, Your, or You're."
This should be used when making a page. Third Person is when you are telling something but you never address yourself or the reader. This does not have any specific keywords to note.
